– Thứ nhất: Trên cơ sở phân tích một cách có hệ thống các khái niệm có liên quan về BVTTCN của NTD trong lĩnh vực TMĐT, luận văn có thể giải quyết một cách thỏa đáng những vấn đề mang tính lý luận của pháp luật BVTTCN của NTD trong TMĐT ở Việt Nam
– Thứ hai: Luận văn nghiên cứu, phân tích, đánh giá một cách có hệ thống và toàn diện thực trạng pháp luật BVTTCN của NTD trong TMĐT của Việt Nam hiện hành. Trên cơ sở đó chỉ ra sự khiếm khuyết, bất hợp lý cần sửa đổi, bổ sung của pháp luật BVTTCN của NTD trong TMĐT sao cho phù hợp với đòi hỏi khách quan của nền kinh tế thị trường cũng như phù hợp với điều kiện văn hóa, xã hội và yêu cầu xây dựng Nhà nước pháp quyền của Việt Nam trong thời kỳ hội nhập quốc tế.
– Thứ ba: Luận giải và đề xuất cụ thể, toàn diện các giải pháp nhằm đáp ứng được yêu cầu bảo vệ hữu hiệu TTCN của NTD khi tham gia TMĐT trong bối cảnh bị xâm phạm khá nghiêm trọng; đưa ra định hướng, các kiến nghị nhằm hoàn thiện pháp luật BVTTCN của NTD trong TMĐT ở Việt nam hiện nay.

First, on the basis of systematically analyzing concepts relating to the protection of personal information of consumers in electronic commerce, the thesis resovled satisfactorily theoritcal issues of the law on the protection of personal information of consumers in electronic commerce in Vietnam.
Second, in the thesis, the author reseached, analyzed, evaluated the legal situation of the current Vietnam law on the protection of personal information of consumers in electronic commerce in a sustematic and comprehensive way. On that basis, the thesis pointed out the defects and irrationalities which need to be amended in the current Vietnam Law on the protection of of personal information of consumers in electronic commerce in order to meet the objective demands of the market economy as well as the conditions of culture, society and the requirement of building a law-governed State of Vietnam in the international integration period.
Third, in this thesis, the author provided not only specific and comprehensive solutions to meet the requirement of the effective protection of personal information of consumers in electronic commerce, but also the directions and recommedations for the improvement of the Vietnamese legislation on the protection of personal information of consumers in electronic commerce.
