11. Tóm tắt các kết quả của luận án:
Luận án nghiên cứu những vấn đề lý luận về các tội xâm phạm sức khỏe của người khác theo Luật hình sự Việt Nam, đánh giá thực tiễn xét xử trên địa bàn cả nước trong giai đoạn 10 năm (2007 – 2016), trên cơ sở đó, chỉ ra những tồn tại, hạn chế và một số nguyên nhân cơ bản, từ đó luận chứng yêu cầu và đề xuất kiến nghị tiếp tục hoàn thiện quy định của Bộ luật hình sự năm 2015, cũng như những giải pháp khác nâng cao hiệu quả áp dụng quy định của Bộ luật này về các tội phạm này, góp phần đấu tranh phòng, chống tội phạm và bảo vệ quyền con người, quyền công dân.
12. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:
Kết quả của luận án làm cơ sở để đưa ra những kiến nghị tiếp tục hoàn thiện quy định của Bộ luật hình sự Việt Nam năm 2015 về các tội xâm phạm sức khỏe của người khác và các giải pháp nâng cao hiệu quả áp dụng tại Tòa án nhân dân các cấp trong cả nước, qua đó, nâng cao hiệu quả công tác đấu tranh phòng, chống tội phạm nói chung, việc bảo vệ các quyền và tự do của con người nói riêng, cũng như phòng, chống oan, sai và vi phạm pháp luật trong thực tiễn giải quyết vụ án hình sự.
Ngoài ra, luận án còn là tài liệu tham khảo cho các sinh viên, học viên cao học và nghiên cứu sinh chuyên ngành Luật hình sự và tố tụng hình sự tại các cơ sở đào tạo luật học trên cả nước.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
The thesis has developed a number of concepts, categorized and indicated the characteristics of crimes of infringing upon the health of others; Clarified the meaning and basis of the definition of crimes of infringing upon the health of others in Vietnamese criminal law; Assessed the practicality of trial of these crimes; Proposed some recommendations to improve the provisions of the Vietnamese Criminal Code on these crimes.
12. Practical applicability (if any):
Scientifically, the dissertation clarifies the theoretical issues of crimes of infringing upon the health of others and the practical application by the People’s Courts at all levels in the whole country over a period of 10 years (2007-2016),adding to the theoretical treasures of the Vietnamese criminal law on crimes of infringing upon the health of others, but also raising the awareness of bodies and persons conducting legal proceedings during the process of solving the criminal case, thereby ensuring that the rules governing these offenses are correct, the handling of offenders and offenders is fair and in accordance with the law.
Practically, with the rapid development of the socio-economy, the study and proposals for the improvement of the domestic criminal law always have practical significance in the prevention and fighting against crime in the new situation. Proposals to improve the law and improve the effectiveness of the application of criminal law for crimes of infringing upon the health of others are based on: analysis of theoretical and practical grounds; Analysis of lessons learned from history and abroad; Fully analyze the signs of the crime, the essence and the dangerous nature of crime; Analyze the practical context of the trial … so that it will be convincing and highly feasible.
Besides, the thesis will partly contribute to supplementing the abundant collection of documents about the crimes of infringing upon the health of others in Vietnam. The thesis will be a useful reference material for the legislative, law enforcement and judicial authorities in Vietnam in amending, supplementing, explaining, guiding and applying the provisions of the law on the crimes of infringing upon the heath of others. At the same time, the thesis is also a useful reference for students, graduate students and PhD students in Criminal and Procedural Law at law training institutions across the country.
